  • Monitor crop conditions and implement appropriate responses under the guidance of farm management.
  • Maintain accurate digital records of field activities, fuel consumption, maintenance, and operational data (remote/office based).
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of agricultural products and inputs.
  • Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
  • Participate in remote team meetings, training sessions, and planning discussions as required by the hybrid model.
  • Collaborate with farm management and other team members to optimize farm productivity and efficiency.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or unusual field conditions promptly.
  • Contribute to the general upkeep and cleanliness of the farm premises and equipment shed.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Tractor Operator in an agricultural setting.
  • Valid South African driver’s license, preferably Code 10/EB or higher.
  • Proficiency in operating a range of modern agricultural tractors and implements.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge for routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work long hours, including weekends and public holidays, especially during peak seasons.
  • Basic computer literacy for data entry and communication (relevant for hybrid model).

Preferred Qualifications
