Are you passionate about Glasgow and eager to showcase its unique charm, rich history, and vibrant culture to the world? Glasgow Life is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Tourism Officer to join our dedicated team. This is a pivotal role in promoting Glasgow as a premier tourist destination, attracting visitors from across the globe, and enhancing their experience once they arrive. As a Tourism Officer, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategic initiatives that highlight Glasgow’s diverse attractions, from its iconic Victorian architecture and world-class museums to its buzzing music scene, culinary delights, and stunning green spaces. You will work collaboratively with local businesses, cultural institutions, event organisers, and community groups to craft compelling narratives and create engaging visitor experiences that resonate with various target markets. This role demands creativity, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities for tourism growth, ensuring Glasgow remains competitive on the global stage.

Your day-to-day will involve a blend of strategic planning and hands-on execution.
