Key Responsibilities
- Lead engaging and informative tours for diverse groups of local and international visitors across Zuba, Abuja, and designated surrounding areas.
- Share comprehensive knowledge of historical sites, cultural traditions, local points of interest, flora, fauna, and contemporary life in the region.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all tour participants throughout the duration of the tour.
- Manage tour logistics efficiently, including transportation, timings, and entry requirements for various attractions.
- Provide exceptional customer service, address participant inquiries, and handle unforeseen situations professionally.
- Adapt tour content and pace to suit the interests, physical capabilities, and demographics of different groups.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor, acting as an ambassador for Zuba and its hospitality.
- Gather feedback from participants to continually improve tour experiences.
- Stay updated on local events, new attractions, and regional developments relevant to tourism.
Required Skills
- Fluent in English (additional local languages are a strong asset)
- Excellent public speaking and storytelling abilities
- In-depth knowledge of Zuba, Abuja's history, culture, geography, and attractions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
