Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging, informative, and entertaining guided tours of Katampe and other areas within Abuja.
- Share in-depth knowledge of local history, culture, attractions, and current events with tour participants.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all tour participants throughout the duration of the tour.
- Manage tour logistics, including meeting points, timings, transportation (if applicable), and group dynamics.
- Adapt tour content and pace to suit the interests, demographics, and physical capabilities of diverse groups.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing participant questions and concerns professionally.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
- Adhere to all local regulations and safety guidelines pertaining to tour operations.
- Continuously update knowledge of Abuja's attractions, new developments, and local insights.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a tour guide or in a similar public-facing, interpretive role.
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities in English.
- In-depth knowledge of Abuja's history, culture, geography, and attractions, particularly in Katampe.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage groups effectively and handle unforeseen situations with composure.
