Key Responsibilities

  • Review title commitments for accuracy and identify requirements, exceptions, and outstanding issues.
  • Prepare comprehensive closing documents, ensuring compliance with legal, lender, and company guidelines.
  • Order and review necessary documents such as surveys, payoffs, and HOA statements.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and attorneys to gather information and resolve discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with escrow officers and other team members to ensure a seamless closing process.
  • Maintain organized files and records, both physical and electronic, throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Assist with post-closing activities, including recording documents and issuing final title policies.
  • Adhere strictly to all company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Title Processor, Escrow Assistant, or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of title insurance principles, real estate law, and closing procedures.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in industry-specific software (e.g., SoftPro, RamQuest) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Active Arizona Notary Public commission.
  • Experience with First American Title's proprietary systems.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish).
