We are actively seeking highly motivated and diligent Textile Workers with a specialization in Cotton Processing to join our expanding team at our processing facility in Nampula. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor various machines involved in cotton processing, including ginning, cleaning, and baling equipment.
- Conduct regular quality checks on cotton fiber at different processing stages to ensure adherence to standards.
- Load and unload raw cotton and processed bales, ensuring proper material flow.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery and work areas to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or safety hazards promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and operational guidelines.
- Maintain accurate production records and logs as required.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets.
- Assist in other general duties within the cotton processing plant as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to operate industrial machinery safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials (up to 25 kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of mechanical processes and willingness to learn new equipment.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Fluency in Portuguese, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety procedures and protocols.
