Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive virtual patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.
- Prescribe medications, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and manage referrals as appropriate.
- Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment adherence.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Adhere strictly to all HIPAA regulations, professional ethics, and state/federal telemedicine guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous professional development.
- Utilize telemedicine platforms effectively for patient interactions, consultations, and follow-up care.
- Respond to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Required Skills
- Active, unencumbered California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Active, unencumbered California Nurse Practitioner (NP) license.
- National board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., ANCC, AANP).
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably with some telehealth experience.
- Proficiency in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and telemedicine platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective patient and team interaction.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical assessment abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload in a remote environment.
