Key Responsibilities
- Provide virtual primary care, acute care, and chronic disease management services through telehealth.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical exams (remotely), and diagnostic interpretations.
- Diagnose and treat common medical conditions within the scope of practice for a Nurse Practitioner.
- Prescribe medications, order laboratory tests, and imaging studies, and interpret results effectively.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, including education on health conditions and preventative measures.
- Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely electronic health records (EHRs) for all patient encounters.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Adhere strictly to all state and federal regulations, professional guidelines, and company policies pertaining to telehealth and nursing practice.
Required Skills
- Active and unencumbered Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in Kentucky (multi-state licensure a plus).
- Master's or Doctorate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., FNP, AGPCNP).
- Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms, Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, and general computer skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong patient-facing etiquette.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage time effectively, and make independent clinical decisions.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, private home office space.
