Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient consultations, assessments, and follow-ups via video, phone, and secure messaging, ensuring a thorough understanding of patient needs.
- Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic conditions, adhering strictly to evidence-based practice guidelines and protocols.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results to inform accurate diagnoses and treatment strategies.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, including prescribing medications and other therapeutic interventions as appropriate and within scope of practice.
- Provide comprehensive health education, counseling, and disease prevention guidance to patients and their families, fostering proactive health management.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA and all other relevant state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians, specialists, and support staff, to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives, peer reviews, and ongoing professional development activities to continuously enhance clinical skills.
- Manage a diverse patient caseload, ensuring continuity of care, appropriate referrals when necessary, and meticulous follow-up.
Required Skills
- Active, unencumbered Nurse Practitioner license in Oklahoma (and willingness to obtain others as needed).
- Master's or Doctorate in Nursing (MSN/DNP) from an accredited program.
- National board certification (ANCC or AANP) as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in primary care, urgent care, or telehealth settings.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and comfort with various telehealth platforms.
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with a patient-first approach.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making abilities, even in a remote environment.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced remote setting.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, private, and HIPAA-compliant home office space.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a remote or telehealth environment.

- Active DEA registration.
