Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive virtual patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for a variety of acute and chronic conditions.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments in accordance with state and federal regulations and established protocols.
- Provide expert health education, counseling, and preventive care guidance to patients via telecommunication technologies.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough electronic health records (EHR) of all patient interactions.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare team members, including physicians, specialists, and support staff, to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Adhere to all legal, ethical, and professional standards of practice, including patient confidentiality and data security.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with telehealth best practices and medical advancements.

Required Skills
- Active, unencumbered Nurse Practitioner license in Washington, D.C.
- Master's or Doctorate in Nursing (MSN/DNP) from an accredited program.
- Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP), or similar.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Demonstrated proficiency and comfort with telehealth platforms and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport virtually.
- Strong diagnostic reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
