Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for acute and chronic conditions.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests, providing appropriate follow-up.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, including health education and disease prevention strategies.
- Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and timely electronic health records (EHRs).
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance and disease management.
- Adhere to all clinical protocols, policies, and procedures, ensuring high standards of care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Utilize telehealth platforms and tools proficiently to deliver seamless virtual consultations.
Required Skills
- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Nevada.
- Master's degree or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (MSN/DNP) from an accredited program.
- Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner, with some telehealth experience preferred.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical assessment skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a virtual patient caseload effectively.
- Technologically proficient with reliable internet access and a private, secure home workspace.
