We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Telecommunications Engineer to join our innovative team in Dubai. As a Telecommunications Engineer at e& Enterprise, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining advanced telecommunication networks and solutions for our enterprise clients. Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement various telecommunications systems and networks, including core network infrastructure, access networks (Fiber, Wireless), and enterprise communication solutions.
- Conduct network planning, capacity analysis, and performance optimization to ensure high availability, reliability, and quality of service.
- Perform troubleshooting, fault isolation, and resolution for complex network issues, collaborating with vendors and internal teams.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Evaluate new technologies and solutions, recommending enhancements to existing infrastructure and services.
- Participate in project planning, execution, and post-implementation reviews, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and operational teams.
- Collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams to provide technical expertise during client engagements and proposal development.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in telecommunications network design, implementation, and operations.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching, and network security principles.
- Proficiency in working with various telecom equipment from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, Nokia, or Ericsson.
- Experience with fiber optic networks, DWDM, GPON, and Ethernet technologies.
- Familiarity with wireless technologies including 4G/LTE, 5G, and Wi-Fi.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a team environment.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, JNCIS, JNCIP, PMP).
- Experience with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, GCP) or SD-WAN technologies.
- Knowledge of IoT connectivity solutions and protocols.
- Experience with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible).
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and best practices.
