Key Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing daily classroom activities and lessons.
- Provide individualized and small group support to students, addressing their specific learning needs.
- Help maintain a positive, safe, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Prepare educational materials, displays, and resources as directed by the teacher.
- Supervise students during classroom activities, playtime, lunch, and transitions.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff regarding student progress and behavior.
- Assist with student assessments, record-keeping, and tracking of academic performance.
- Promote positive behavior management strategies and conflict resolution among students.
- Support students with special educational needs, adapting strategies as required.
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and extracurricular activities as needed.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
