Key Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing daily classroom activities and lessons designed for kindergarten children.
- Supervise children during playtime, meal times, outdoor activities, and nap times, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and creative exploration.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to children, assisting with their learning tasks, developmental needs, and personal care.
- Support children in developing positive social skills, appropriate behavior, and fostering independence.
- Prepare learning materials, resources, and activity stations as directed by the lead teacher.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding children's daily activities and progress, under the guidance of the lead teacher.
- Assist with classroom management strategies to foster a respectful, cooperative, and engaging atmosphere.
- Participate actively in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills.
- Observe and document children's progress, behavior, and any concerns as required by the teaching staff.
