Job Description
The Talent Management Assistant at Career.supersecrets will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of our record label’s artist roster. This exciting full-time position, based in the vibrant community of Chuka, Tharaka-Nithi County, offers an exceptional opportunity for a proactive, detail-oriented, and organized individual to dive deep into the heart of the music industry. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating artist appearances, meetings, and recording sessions.
- Manage artist travel logistics, accommodation, and itineraries for performances and promotional activities.
- Maintain accurate artist databases, contact lists, and project timelines.
- Support the creation and distribution of promotional materials, press kits, and social media content.
- Liaise with internal departments (marketing, A&R, legal) and external stakeholders (venues, promoters, media) on behalf of artists.
- Process invoices, track expenses, and manage budgets related to artist projects.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging talent, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Provide administrative support to the Talent Management team, including calendar management and correspondence.
- Attend industry events, concerts, and showcases as required to support artist representation.
- Handle sensitive and confidential artist information with utmost discretion.
Required Skills
- Proven organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment
- A keen eye for detail and problem-solving aptitude
- Proficiency in English and Swahili
- Passion for the music industry and artist development
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Business, Arts Administration, Marketing, or a related field
