Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Tailoring Apprentice. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn the skills and techniques of professional tailoring from experienced artisans within a supportive and encouraging environment. As an apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced tailors, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of the tailoring process, from pattern making and cutting to sewing and finishing. You will be involved in all stages of garment production, learning the intricacies of creating high-quality, bespoke garments. This role offers valuable on-the-job training, allowing you to develop practical skills and build a strong foundation for a successful career in the fashion industry. We will provide comprehensive training, covering a wide range of skills and techniques, while also supporting your personal and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting experienced tailors in all aspects of garment production.
- Learning and practicing various sewing techniques.
- Operating and maintaining sewing machines.
- Cutting and preparing fabric according to patterns.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Following instructions and adhering to safety regulations.
- Helping with stock management and organization.
Required Skills
- Basic sewing skills (preferred, but not required)
