Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc is seeking an accomplished and visionary Supply Chain Director to lead our comprehensive supply chain operations for the Kwara region, based in Ilorin. This pivotal role demands a strategic leader who will be responsible for orchestrating the seamless flow of goods from raw material sourcing to final product delivery, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and resilience across our extensive network. The Supply Chain Director will develop and implement advanced supply chain strategies, optimize logistics, manage inventory, and foster strong relationships with suppliers and distributors. You will be instrumental in leveraging technology to enhance operational excellence, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement in line with our aggressive growth objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a regional supply chain strategy aligned with FMN’s national objectives and market demands in Kwara.
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain processes including procurement, warehousing, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
- Optimize supply chain costs while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and timely delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Implement and leverage supply chain technologies and data analytics to improve visibility, forecasting, and decision-making.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity and resilience.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
- Drive sustainability initiatives within the supply chain, focusing on environmental impact and ethical sourcing.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, sales, finance, and marketing teams to ensure integrated business planning.
