Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently unload deliveries and transport stock to relevant departments.
- Accurately stock shelves, ensuring products are faced up and correctly positioned.
- Implement 'first in, first out' (FIFO) stock rotation to minimise waste and ensure freshness.
- Thoroughly check product expiry dates and remove any out-of-date items from sale.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation on the shop floor and in storage areas.
- Assist customers with locating products or general store inquiries in a polite and helpful manner.
- Report any damaged goods, stock discrepancies, or equipment malfunctions to management.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the supermarket.
- Support colleagues with other general store duties as required to ensure smooth operations.
