We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sugar Estate Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Worthy Park Estate. This pivotal role is central to the efficient and productive operation of our sugar cane cultivation and harvesting processes. As a Sugar Estate Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all field activities within an assigned section of the estate, ensuring optimal yield, quality, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily sugar cane cultivation, planting, harvesting, and field maintenance operations within an assigned area.
- Supervise and train field teams, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, operational procedures, and productivity targets.
- Implement best agricultural practices, including irrigation management, fertilization, pest and disease control, and weed management.
- Monitor crop health, identify issues, and recommend corrective actions to optimize yield and quality.
- Operate and maintain agricultural machinery and equipment, coordinating with maintenance teams for repairs and servicing.
- Prepare detailed operational reports on field activities, yield data, resource utilization, and team performance.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and sustainable farming practices.
- Manage budget and resources effectively to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate with other supervisors and management to achieve overall estate objectives and production targets.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to standards across all field operations.
