Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain optimal stock levels on shelves and in the storeroom.
- Receive, unpack, and process incoming merchandise, ensuring accuracy against delivery notes.
- Efficiently replenish products on sales floors, ensuring proper rotation (FIFO) and presentation standards.
- Implement and maintain planograms and visual merchandising guidelines to create attractive displays.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies, reporting issues to management.
- Monitor product expiry dates and damaged goods, ensuring timely removal and proper disposal.
- Assist with price tagging, promotions, and special displays as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, both on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with product location and inquiries when needed.
- Collaborate with the store management team to optimize stock flow and merchandising strategies.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in retail merchandising or stock management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer proficiency for inventory tracking (e.g., POS systems).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
