Key Responsibilities
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using a POS system.
- Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods with integrity and attention to detail.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and assisting with product location.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area.
- Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Assist with stocking shelves, tagging items, and maintaining store displays as needed.
- Process returns, exchanges, and resolve customer complaints courteously.
- Adhere to all store policies and procedures, including security and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive shopping environment.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in customer service or a related field (6 months minimum).
- Strong numerical aptitude and ability to perform basic calculations quickly and accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and trustworthiness in handling cash and transactions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Basic computer literacy for operating POS systems.
