Key Responsibilities
- Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately to process customer transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and mobile money transactions with integrity and precision.
- Greet customers warmly, provide excellent customer service, and assist with product inquiries and locating items.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and assist with general store cleanliness and tidiness.
- Stock shelves, arrange merchandise, and ensure products are clearly priced and displayed attractively.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with receiving and checking in new stock as required.
- Assist in setting up promotional displays and ensuring compliance with merchandising standards.
- Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures, including those related to security, health, and safety regulations.
- Be proactive in identifying and resolving customer concerns and feedback to enhance their overall shopping experience.
