Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and accurately process incoming shipments of various goods and materials.
- Systematically sort, label, and store items in their designated stockroom locations following established procedures.
- Efficiently pick and pack customer orders or internal requests based on picking lists, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct regular inventory counts, assist with stock reconciliation, and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the stockroom and warehouse areas.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, or trolleys, after receiving proper training.
- Immediately report any damages, quality issues, or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Assist with the loading of outgoing shipments, verifying item counts and proper documentation.
- Strictly adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines at all times.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25kg) comfortably and regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in tasks.
- Excellent time management and organizational capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
