Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming goods, verifying quantities against purchase orders and documenting discrepancies.
- Organize and store inventory in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring proper labeling, rotation, and accessibility.
- Accurately pick and pack outgoing orders according to specifications, preparing them for dispatch and delivery.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the stockroom and warehouse at all times.
- Assist with regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accurate stock records and identify any variances.
- Safely operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, after receiving thorough training.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and relevant regulations to ensure a secure workplace for everyone.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and achieve operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy items regularly (up to 25 kg) and perform physical tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks, especially inventory handling.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for inventory counting, record-keeping, and understanding instructions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to consistency.
