Career.supersecrets, a leading talent acquisition partner based in vibrant Southampton, is seeking a dedicated individual for a unique and pivotal role focused on ensuring a smooth transition for our international candidates. As our Specialist in Visa Sponsorship & Accommodation, you will be instrumental in navigating the intricacies of immigration, ensuring compliance, and providing comprehensive support to talented individuals from around the globe who are starting their new professional journeys in the UK. This role is crucial for our mission to attract and integrate diverse talent into the British workforce, encompassing a wide range of professions from highly skilled engineers and IT specialists to essential healthcare professionals and logistics experts. You will be the guiding hand for candidates, simplifying complex procedures and offering practical solutions for their arrival and settlement.

This is more than an administrative position; it’s a role that requires strategic thinking, meticulous attention to detail, and a genuine passion for supporting people through significant life changes. You will be the primary point of contact for international hires, offering expert advice on visa categories, documentation requirements, and the entire application lifecycle, from initial assessment to successful endorsement. Your daily tasks will involve close collaboration with our internal recruitment teams, external immigration lawyers, and various housing providers to ensure a seamless end-to-end experience. Beyond the bureaucratic, you will address practical challenges, assisting with temporary and long-term accommodation searches, helping to understand local amenities, and providing general relocation guidance that eases the stress of moving to a new country. Your expertise will directly contribute to our candidates’ success and overall satisfaction, strengthening Career.supersecrets’ reputation as an employer of choice and a supportive partner for international talent. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess exceptional communication skills, and are driven by the desire to facilitate global careers, we encourage you to apply. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the international recruitment experience from the ground up within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation, contributing significantly to our global talent pool development strategy.

  • Maintain accurate records of all visa applications, sponsorship certificates, and candidate accommodation details.
  • Stay updated on changes in UK immigration legislation and advise internal teams accordingly.
  • Develop and refine standard operating procedures for international recruitment and relocation processes.
  • Offer empathetic and practical support to candidates, addressing their concerns and ensuring a positive onboarding experience.
