You will be responsible for meticulously preparing and submitting visa documentation, staying abreast of the latest UK immigration laws and policies, and advising both candidates and internal teams on compliance matters. Beyond immigration, you will play a key role in ensuring our international hires have appropriate and comfortable accommodation upon arrival. This involves researching housing options, liaising with landlords or agencies, and providing practical support to help candidates settle into Brighton life. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end visa application process for international candidates, including document collection, form completion, and submission to relevant authorities.
- Provide expert advice on UK immigration regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices to candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Act as the primary liaison with immigration lawyers, government bodies, and housing agencies as required.
- Research, identify, and secure suitable short-term and long-term accommodation options for incoming international employees.
- Assist candidates with relocation logistics, including travel arrangements, initial registration processes, and local orientation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all visa applications, immigration statuses, and accommodation arrangements.
- Stay informed of changes in immigration laws, housing regulations, and local market conditions to ensure continuous compliance and effective support.
- Develop and implement standardized procedures for visa sponsorship and accommodation services.
- Offer ongoing support and guidance to international employees post-arrival, addressing any queries or challenges related to their settlement.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in UK immigration processes, particularly Skilled Worker (Tier 2) visas.
- Demonstrable knowledge of current UK visa regulations, compliance, and application procedures.
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with diverse individuals.
