Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting patients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and mobility, while promoting independence.
  • Monitoring, accurately recording, and reporting vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
  • Supporting patients with feeding and hydration, ensuring dietary needs are met and assisting with meal preparation where necessary.
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe environment for patients, adhering to infection control policies.
  • Communicating effectively and empathetically with patients, their families, and all members of the healthcare team.
  • Assisting with patient observations, documenting relevant information, and promptly reporting any changes in condition or concerns to nursing staff.
  • Adhering to care plans, policies, and procedures to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to patients, promoting their comfort and well-being.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluent English.

  • Basic Life Support or First Aid certification.
  • Experience with diverse patient populations or cultural backgrounds.
