Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end visa and immigration application processes for international candidates and their dependents, ensuring strict adherence to UK Home Office guidelines.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to candidates and hiring managers on visa requirements, immigration laws, and sponsorship obligations.
- Coordinate comprehensive relocation services, including temporary and permanent accommodation sourcing, logistics, schooling information, and local area orientation.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all pre-arrival and post-arrival support for international hires, addressing queries and providing practical assistance.
- Liaise effectively with external immigration legal counsel, government agencies, and relocation service providers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all visa applications, sponsorship documents, and relocation activities in compliance with GDPR and company policies.
- Develop and disseminate clear, concise immigration and relocation guides and resources for new hires.
- Stay informed about changes in UK immigration legislation and advise internal teams on potential impacts and necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, and departmental managers to ensure a seamless and positive onboarding experience for all international employees.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (3+ years) in UK immigration processes, particularly with Skilled Worker visas and sponsorship duties.
- Comprehensive understanding of UK immigration laws, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with HRIS or applicant tracking systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Cultural sensitivity and an empathetic approach to supporting individuals relocating internationally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification in global mobility, immigration services, or human resources (e.g., CIPD, Global Mobility Specialist).
