Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end visa sponsorship process for international candidates, including Skilled Worker visas, ensuring compliance with UKVI regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for candidates regarding visa applications, providing clear guidance and support on required documentation and timelines.
- Liaise effectively with internal teams, external immigration lawyers, and UKVI to ensure timely and successful visa applications.
- Coordinate initial temporary and long-term accommodation solutions for relocating professionals, including property searches, viewings, and lease agreements.
- Provide comprehensive relocation support, including information on local services, public transport, schooling, and cultural integration in Sheffield and beyond.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all visa applications, immigration statuses, and accommodation arrangements.
- Monitor changes in UK immigration law and policy, advising internal stakeholders and candidates on potential impacts.
- Prepare and submit Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS) applications as required.
- Assist with pre-arrival and post-arrival support, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local accommodation providers and relocation service partners.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in UK immigration processes, particularly Skilled Worker visas.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and empathetically.
- Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Cultural sensitivity, with experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Human Resources, Law, International Relations, or a related field.
- Experience working within a recruitment agency or global mobility department.
- Knowledge of broader relocation services and local Sheffield amenities.
- OISC Level 1 or 2 accreditation (or willingness to obtain).
- Fluency in an additional language.
