Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs under the direction of a class teacher or SENCo.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and other support strategies.
- Help prepare and adapt learning materials to suit individual student needs and learning styles.
- Support students with communication, social skills, and emotional regulation.
- Assist with classroom management and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Observe and record student progress, behaviour, and development, reporting observations to the class teacher.
- Facilitate student independence and participation in classroom activities.
- Provide personal care support where necessary, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Liaise effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
- Participate in relevant training, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.

- Relevant first aid qualification
