Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor security alerts and events from various security tools (SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS).
  • Perform initial triage and analysis of security incidents to determine scope and impact.
  • Document security incidents and findings accurately and thoroughly.
  • Escalate complex or high-severity incidents to senior analysts or relevant teams.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of security monitoring rules and playbooks.
  • Support vulnerability management activities, including scanning and reporting.
  • Participate in security awareness initiatives and provide basic security advice to internal users.
  • Contribute to daily, weekly, and monthly security reports and metrics.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux).
  • Knowledge of common security concepts (firewalls, antivirus, access control).
  • Ability to analyze logs and security event data.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications
