Are you a visionary urban planner with a passion for technology and a drive to shape the cities of tomorrow? Tet invites you to join our innovative team as a Smart City Infrastructure Planner. In this critical role, you will be at the nexus of urban development and technological advancement, instrumental in conceptualizing, designing, and implementing cutting-edge smart city solutions across Latvia. You will translate complex urban challenges into actionable strategies, leveraging data analytics, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and sustainable practices to create intelligent, resilient, and livable urban environments.

This position demands a strategic thinker who can integrate diverse technological components into a cohesive smart city framework. Your responsibilities will span from conducting thorough feasibility studies and needs assessments to developing comprehensive master plans for digital infrastructure, smart mobility solutions, energy efficiency systems, waste management optimization, public safety enhancements, and innovative citizen engagement platforms. You will collaborate closely with municipal authorities, government agencies, private sector partners, and internal engineering teams to ensure project alignment with both broad urban development goals and Tet’s strategic objectives for digital transformation.

A core aspect of this role involves continuously evaluating emerging technologies and recommending innovative, scalable solutions that optimize urban services, reduce environmental footprint, and enhance operational efficiency. You will be responsible for defining detailed project scopes, managing ambitious timelines, and ensuring the successful execution of smart infrastructure initiatives from ideation through pilot programs and full-scale deployment. Furthermore, you will play a key role in engaging a wide range of stakeholders, facilitating collaborative workshops, and presenting complex technical information to non-technical audiences, fostering a shared vision for intelligent urban growth. We seek an individual who is not only proficient in urban planning methodologies and GIS tools but also possesses a deep understanding of digital ecosystems, telecommunications networks, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a rapidly evolving technological landscape. This is an unparalleled opportunity to contribute to transformative projects that will redefine urban living and position Latvia as a leader in smart city innovation, creating tangible benefits for millions.
