Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise project site operations, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions proactively.
- Coordinate effectively with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders for seamless execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks, ensuring all work complies with engineering drawings, specifications, and local building codes.
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, progress reports, material usage, and health & safety documentation.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to site operatives and subcontractors, resolving on-site engineering challenges and queries.
- Verify the accuracy of setting-out and dimensional control for all elements of the works.
- Participate in site meetings, contributing to discussions on progress, planning, and problem-solving.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as a Site Engineer, preferably within the UAE.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations in Dubai.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and other relevant engineering software.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and decision-making under pressure.
- Valid UAE driving license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or Project Management.
- Professional engineering license or chartership (e.g., P.Eng., CEng).
- Experience with large-scale luxury residential or marine construction projects.
- Familiarity with FIDIC contracts.
- Knowledge of BIM software and practices.
