Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and engage with them to understand their needs and preferences.
- Actively assist customers in finding products, providing detailed information, and recommending suitable options.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Maintain a tidy, organised, and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed.
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and courteously, aiming for satisfactory resolutions.
- Achieve and exceed daily/weekly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and store policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive working environment.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, unpacking, and organising stock.
- Promote loyalty programs and special offers to customers.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service or retail sales role (minimum 1 year)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong sales acumen and a goal-oriented mindset
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
- Proficiency in basic computer usage and POS systems
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
