Career.supersecrets is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Shipping Operations Assistant to join our thriving team in Marsabit, Marsabit County. As a Shipping Operations Assistant, you will be the backbone of our dispatch and delivery processes, working closely with various stakeholders to coordinate shipments, manage documentation, and resolve any operational challenges that may arise. Your attention to detail will be crucial in accurately tracking goods, verifying manifests, and ensuring compliance with all relevant shipping regulations, both local and international.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations, invoices, and packing lists.
- Communicate effectively with freight forwarders, carriers, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in managing stock, ensuring proper storage and dispatch procedures.
- Resolve shipping discrepancies, damages, or delays by liaising with relevant parties and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all shipping activities and documentation in the company's database.
- Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international shipping regulations and safety standards.
- Assist in the preparation of regular reports on shipping volumes, costs, and performance metrics.
- Support the operational team with various administrative tasks as required.
