Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance software applications.
- Lead and participate in technical design and architectural discussions, contributing to the overall technical strategy.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct thorough code reviews for peers, ensuring code quality, performance, and adherence to design specifications.
- Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, QA, and operations, to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and approaches to improve development processes and product offerings.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, or C#.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and data structures.
- Extensive experience with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
