Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex cloud architectures for enterprise-level clients across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Define cloud strategy, roadmap, and governance frameworks in alignment with client business objectives and industry best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and solution quality.
- Conduct architectural reviews, performance analysis, and security assessments of existing and proposed cloud solutions.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates and automation scripts for cloud resource provisioning and configuration.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
- Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies, trends, and security threats to recommend innovative solutions and continuous improvements.
- Mentor and coach junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Contribute to pre-sales activities, including solutioning, estimation, and presenting to prospective clients.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in cloud architecture and solution design.
- Demonstrable expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with strong understanding of its core services.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, identity, and compliance in cloud environments.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a client-facing, fast-paced consultancy environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional or Expert level certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures.
- Familiarity with serverless computing paradigms (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions).
- Experience with data engineering and analytics services in the cloud.
- Background in software development with proficiency in languages like Python, Java, or Go.
- Previous experience working in a large-scale consulting firm.
