Job Description
We are seeking highly motivated and reliable Security Personnel to join our team in Gusau, Zamfara State. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting our facilities and personnel, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all. This role requires vigilance, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. You will be working closely with other security personnel and reporting to the Security Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas, monitoring surveillance systems, responding to alarms and emergencies, conducting security checks, maintaining detailed incident reports, and collaborating with law enforcement agencies when necessary. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a strong commitment to maintaining a secure environment. This is a physically demanding role that requires long periods of standing, walking, and being alert. A deep understanding of local laws and security protocols will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems.
- Respond to alarms and emergencies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct regular security checks and inspections.
- Prepare and maintain detailed incident reports.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
- Enforce company policies and procedures.
- Maintain awareness of potential security threats.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Security Manager.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in security work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to remain calm and alert under pressure
- Physical stamina and endurance
- Knowledge of security protocols and procedures
- Ability to use security equipment (e.g., radios, surveillance cameras)
- Valid Security License (where applicable)

- Prior experience working in a similar role
- Training in security or law enforcement
- First aid and CPR certification
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations
