Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular mobile and foot patrols of designated properties to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, inspect buildings, equipment, and access points; permit entry.
- Respond to alarms, investigate disturbances, and intervene in situations to maintain peace and order.
- Enforce rules, regulations, and policies of the property and Career.supersecrets.
- Write detailed narrative reports, including daily activity logs, incident reports, and investigative findings.
- Provide escort services for clients and visitors as needed.
- Report any security breaches, suspicious activities, or emergencies to appropriate authorities and management.
- Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services as required during incidents.
- Administer basic first aid or CPR in emergency situations until professional medical help arrives.
- Control access to premises, including monitoring incoming and outgoing personnel and vehicles.
Required Skills
- Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Current Texas Level II or III Security Officer License (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proven ability to write clear, concise, and detailed reports.
- Excellent observational and communication skills.
- Ability to operate surveillance equipment and basic security technology.
- Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
- Physical fitness to perform duties including prolonged standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or military.
- Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for report generation.
- Experience with security software and access control systems.
- Previous experience in a patrol-based security role.
