Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular and thorough patrols of designated hotel areas, including guest floors, public spaces, back-of-house, and exterior grounds, ensuring vigilance and presence.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and alarm systems, promptly identifying and reporting any suspicious activities, unauthorized access, or potential security breaches.
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations such as medical incidents, fires, or security alarms, following established hotel procedures and protocols.
- Maintain accurate and detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations, preparing comprehensive reports for management as required.
- Enforce hotel policies and procedures to ensure a safe and orderly environment for all guests and staff.
- Provide assistance and direction to guests and visitors with professionalism and courtesy, contributing to a positive guest experience.
- Collaborate closely with other security team members, hotel staff, and local authorities when necessary to address security concerns.
- Perform routine checks on security equipment to ensure proper functionality and report any malfunctions.
- Act as a visible deterrent to crime and unauthorized activities, promoting a sense of safety and security throughout the premises.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Strong sense of integrity and honesty.
- Excellent observation and attention to detail skills.
- Basic communication skills in English and Kinyarwanda.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure and in emergency situations.
- Good physical fitness and stamina for patrolling duties.
- Willingness to learn and adhere to security procedures and protocols.

- A customer-focused attitude with polite and respectful demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR certification.
