Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of hotel premises, including guest areas, back-of-house, and perimeters, to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unauthorized access.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV cameras, to identify and address security threats or suspicious activities.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms, emergency calls, and security incidents such as guest disturbances, thefts, or medical emergencies.
- Enforce hotel policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and visitors.
- Protect hotel property, assets, and confidential information from theft, vandalism, or damage.
- Assist guests and staff with security-related concerns, providing directions, escort services, or emergency assistance as needed.
- Prepare accurate and detailed daily reports, incident logs, and investigations findings.
- Provide basic first aid assistance and coordinate with emergency services when necessary.
- Control access points, manage visitor logs, and verify credentials to prevent unauthorized entry.
- Liaise effectively with local law enforcement, emergency services, and SIRA authorities as required.
Required Skills
- Valid SIRA license or demonstrable eligibility for SIRA training and licensing in Dubai (mandatory for overseas hires).
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Security Guard, with a preference for hotel or hospitality security background.
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective in high-pressure situations and emergencies.
- High level of integrity, honesty, and ethical conduct.
- Basic computer proficiency for report writing, email communication, and operating security systems.
- Physical fitness and stamina to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Customer service orientation with a polite and helpful demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a 4-star or 5-star hotel environment.
- Additional language proficiency (e.g., Arabic, Hindi, Tagalog, Russian).
