Job Description
First Bank of Nigeria is seeking a highly motivated and reliable Security Guard to join our team in Surulere, Lagos. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, customers, and property. This is a full-time position requiring excellent observation skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to upholding high security standards. This role demands alertness, responsibility, and a proactive approach to security. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and demonstrate a clear understanding of security procedures and protocols. This is an on-site position located at our Surulere branch.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring and controlling access to the premises.
- Conducting regular patrols and inspections.
- Responding promptly and effectively to security incidents and emergencies.
- Ensuring the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets.
- Maintaining detailed logs and records of all security-related activities.
- Cooperating with law enforcement agencies as required.
- Reporting any suspicious activities or security breaches to the appropriate authorities.
- Implementing and adhering to all security policies and procedures.
- Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
