Key Responsibilities
- Manage and control access at entry and exit points for vehicles and pedestrians.
- Verify identification and credentials for authorized personnel and visitors.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and alarm systems for unusual activities.
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas, including the perimeter and premises.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of daily occurrences, visitor entries, and departures.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to any security incidents or emergencies.
- Provide clear directions and assistance to visitors and staff as needed.
- Enforce company security policies and procedures consistently.
- Report any suspicious behavior, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
- Ensure the safety and security of property, assets, and personnel.
Required Skills
- No prior security experience required (full SIRA training provided)
- Strong observational and vigilance skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities (English proficiency is essential; Arabic is an advantage)
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and meticulously
- Basic computer literacy for logging and reporting
- High level of integrity, honesty, and professionalism
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
- A proactive and responsible attitude towards safety and security
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent qualification
- Basic First Aid and/or Fire Safety certification
- Previous experience in a customer service-oriented role
- Familiarity with the Masfout, Ajman area and local community dynamics
- Existing SIRA certification is a plus, but not a requirement as training is provided
