Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor all access points for authorized entry and exit.
- Verify identification and credentials for all individuals and vehicles entering or exiting the premises.
- Operate and monitor CCTV cameras and other surveillance equipment.
- Conduct regular patrols of designated areas, checking for security breaches, hazards, or suspicious activities.
- Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and daily activity logs.
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and SIRA regulations.
- Provide assistance and information to visitors, employees, and residents as needed, maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Coordinate with emergency services and local authorities during critical situations.
- Ensure the integrity of security equipment and systems.
Required Skills
- Valid Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA) License (mandatory).
- Proven experience as a Security Officer or Access Control Officer.
- Excellent observational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in operating CCTV and access control systems.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Basic first aid knowledge.
