Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble a variety of sandwiches, wraps, and salads according to established recipes and customer specifications.
- Ensure all food items are prepared fresh daily, using high-quality ingredients, and presented attractively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work station at all times, strictly adhering to food safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of bread, fillings, vegetables, and other ingredients, communicating resupply needs to the kitchen supervisor.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as slicers, grills, and ovens safely and efficiently.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks (e.g., washing, chopping vegetables) as required.
- Handle customer orders and special dietary requests accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow, especially during peak hours.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 1 year) as a Sandwich Maker or similar culinary role in a fast-paced food service environment.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare a wide range of sandwiches, wraps, and salads efficiently and consistently.
- Strong understanding and strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations (e.g., HACCP principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong presentation skills to ensure visually appealing products.
