Key Responsibilities
- Actively engage with potential customers in outdoor settings such as malls, community events, and public areas.
- Promote and sell MTN products and services, including mobile plans, data, devices, and value-added services.
- Educate customers on product features, benefits, and current promotions.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Process customer activations, upgrades, and other transactions accurately.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring a positive brand experience.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve basic inquiries.
- Stay updated on all MTN products, services, and competitor offerings.
- Represent the MTN brand professionally and ethically at all times.
- Collect and report customer feedback and market insights to improve strategies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in sales or promotional activities (preferably outdoor or direct sales).
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities.
- Goal-oriented with a strong drive to achieve targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various outdoor environments.
- Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Basic computer literacy for sales reporting and customer data capture.
- Fluent in English and at least one other official South African language common in Mahikeng.
