Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and assist customers entering the MTN retail store.
- Actively listen to customer needs and recommend appropriate MTN products and services, including mobile plans, devices, and digital solutions.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits clearly and persuasively.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, card payments, and mobile money.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting retail environment, ensuring product displays are appealing and current.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve minor service issues with patience and professionalism, escalating complex problems to senior staff when necessary.
- Educate customers on new promotions, special offers, and self-service options.
- Achieve and exceed daily/monthly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Stay up-to-date with all MTN product knowledge, service updates, and competitive offerings.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Kinyarwanda and English (French is a plus).
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- A genuine passion for customer service and helping others.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new product information and sales techniques.
- Basic computer literacy for processing transactions and accessing customer information.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous exposure to customer service roles (e.g., volunteer work, informal retail assistance).
- Basic understanding of mobile technology and telecommunication services.
