Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service, actively assisting shoppers with product inquiries, locating items, and offering helpful recommendations.
- Efficiently operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, accurately processing various payment transactions including cash, card, and mobile payments.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the sales floor, ensuring shelves are neatly stocked and product displays are attractive and well-presented.
- Receive and meticulously process new stock deliveries, which includes unpacking, accurate pricing, and strategic merchandising of products according to strict store standards.
- Proactively monitor product expiry dates and implement stock rotation procedures to minimize waste and guarantee product freshness for our customers.
- Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly, courteously, and professionally, escalating complex matters to management when necessary.
- Assist diligently with inventory management tasks, including conducting regular stock counts and reporting any discrepancies accurately.
- Strictly adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, with particular emphasis on food handling and storage protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve collective sales targets, optimize store performance, and maintain a positive and productive working environment.
- Support store promotional activities and seasonal campaigns by setting up engaging displays and actively informing customers about special offers.
Required Skills
