Key Responsibilities
- Shadow and assist senior safari guides on daily game drives and bush walks.
- Actively participate in training sessions covering wildlife biology, ecology, local flora, fauna, and cultural heritage.
- Learn and practice safe driving techniques on varied terrain, including defensive driving and off-road navigation.
- Assist with basic vehicle maintenance and pre-departure checks to ensure safety and operational readiness.
- Develop excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Gain proficiency in identifying various species of birds, mammals, reptiles, and plants.
- Understand and implement emergency procedures, including basic first aid and safety protocols.
- Contribute to maintaining equipment and camp cleanliness as required.
- Adhere strictly to conservation guidelines and responsible tourism practices.
Required Skills
- Demonstrable passion for wildlife, nature, and conservation.
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- High level of physical fitness and stamina.
- Strong desire to learn and proactive attitude.
- Valid Kenyan driving license (Category B minimum, or willingness to obtain immediately).

- Fluency in Kiswahili or other local Kenyan languages.
