Job Description
As a SaaS Product Owner at Sendbird, you will be a pivotal member of our product development team, driving the evolution of our core platform features and developer-facing APIs. You will work closely with engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams to define, prioritize, and deliver innovative solutions that meet market needs and align with our strategic vision. This role requires a deep understanding of the SaaS product lifecycle, a strong technical aptitude, and an unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences for our developer community.
You will be responsible for translating high-level product strategy into detailed, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria, managing the product backlog, and ensuring that development efforts are aligned with business objectives. Your day-to-day will involve conducting thorough market research, analyzing user feedback, performing competitive analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine product requirements. You will serve as the primary point of contact for the development team, clarifying requirements, making timely decisions, and facilitating agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and review sessions.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and prioritize product backlog items, user stories, and acceptance criteria based on product strategy and stakeholder input.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements.
- Lead agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and gather user feedback to identify opportunities and inform product decisions.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and effective user experiences for our developer platform.
- Work closely with engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
- Monitor product performance, analyze data, and gather insights to drive continuous improvement and iterate on features.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the SaaS market, emerging technologies, and customer needs.
- Support go-to-market efforts with product marketing, sales, and customer success teams for successful product launches and adoption.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in a SaaS environment.
- Proven experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and API-first products.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in English and Korean.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable user stories.
- Data-driven decision-making with a strong analytical mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
